This policy paper will attempt to shed light on the legal texts related to the establishment of parliamentary blocs and coalitions in the by-law of the Jordanian Parliament, in terms of registration procedures and the administrative authority that they follow within the Parliaments bodies, in addition to the legal rules related to membership in the parliamentary blocs. It also discusses the expected support of the Parliament for parliamentary blocs and coalitions, its nature, the existence of clear rules of law to regulate it, as well as the legal provisions of the independent deputies who insist on the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives on their treatment as a parliamentary bloc for the purposes of rights and representation. Finally, this policy paper concludes with presenting future visions and experiences of the parliamentary blocs and coalitions in Jordan by presenting viable proposals and ideas that will enhance the role of the parliamentary blocs in the Jordanian constitutional system, from a comparative perspective with the experience of some foreign and Arab countries in the field of parliamentary blocs and coalitions such as France Tunisia and Morocco.
