Abstract

  • Despite enormous potential of renewable energy sources and energy saving in South East and Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia, their deployment in the region remains very slow. The study examines major barriers and driving forces for energy transition in the region, presents domestic best practices with a scale-up potential and gives policy recommendations.
