Abstract
Die Transatlantische Handels- und Investitionspartnerschaft (TTIP) ist aktuell sehr umstritten. Im Fokus der Auseinandersetzung stehen auch mögliche Auswirkungen auf den Verbraucherschutz. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Debatte identifiziert das vorliegende Gutachten Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in den Regulierungsniveaus und verbraucherschützenden Ansätzen zwischen Europa und den USA und lotet aus, welche Chancen und Risiken die transatlantische Handels- und Investitionspartnerschaft für die Verbraucherwohlfahrt beinhaltet.
