Abstract
On March 19th, 2018, the Hans-und-Traute-Matthöfer-Stiftung within the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung awarded the Hans-Matthöfer-Preis für Wirtschaftspublizistik ‘Wirtschaft.Weiter.Denken.‘ 2018. Award winner is Branko Milanović, Professor and Director at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and former Chief Economist in the Research Department of the World Bank, with his book ‘Global inequality – A new approach for the age of globalization’. The speeches held during the award ceremony by Kurt Beck, Andrea Nahles, Brigitte Preissl and Branko Milanović are published in the present Festschrift.
