Summary The year 2012 was one of the most difficult years for Moldova's economy. The economic growth was very slow or even negative in 2012, being equal to-0.2 for the first nine months of 2012. The political conflict has been solved due to the election of Nicolae Timofti in the capacity of the President of Moldova. At the same time, the internal political conflicts inside the Alliance for European Integration didn’t stop, the political parties trying to advance their own agenda at any cost.
