Ê download 24- 25 APRIL 2008, GENEVA| IOM/FES/IDEAS CENTRE/NCCR WORKSHOP Labour Mobility: A win-win-win model for trade and development In the framework of the“Geneva Trade and Development Forum” the FES has taken under its auspices the Working Group on„Labour Mobility“. Lead by Ms. Ndioro Ndiaye, Deputy Director General of the International Organization for Migration, this working group looks into possible gains from labour mobility for developing countries. It is meant to develop a plan of action to create a win-win-win model for trade and development and present it to all stakeholders at the Crans Montana forum from 2-5 July 2008. www.gtdforum.org Ê download 28 APRIL 2008, GENEVA| GCSP/FES PUBLIC DISCUSSION“FORTY YEARS OF NPT: WHAT IS AT STAKE?” The 2005 NPT Review Conference could not agree on recommendations of substance. Is the“grand bargain” reflected by the NPT still relevant in today’s context? Will the balance of commitments struck forty years ago still commend consensus? Does the Treaty need to be adapted or complemented by other cooperative measures?
