Anklage gegen 16 Jahre alte Palästinen­serin Weil sie einem Soldaten vor laufender Kamera ins Gesicht schlug, muss sich die 16 Jahre alte Palästi­nenserin Ahed Tamimi vor einem Militärgericht ver­antworten. Körperverletzung, Bedrohung und Aufwie­gelung wirft ihr die Staatsanwaltschaft vor. Tamimi war Mitte Dezember festgenommen worden. Sie hatte vor ihrem Elternhaus im Dorf Nabi Saleh im be­setzten Westjordanland zwei israelische Soldaten at­tackiert, die sich offiziell dort aufhielten, um zu verhin­dern, dass Palästinenser israelische Autofahrer mit Steinen bewerfen. Auf einem Videoclip, den Tamimi selbst ins Internet stellte, ist auch Nariman Tamimi, die Mutter der jungen Angeklagten, zu sehen. Die beiden bewaffneten Soldaten reagieren passiv. In arabischen Medien wurde die Palästinenserin mit den wilden blonden Locken als Heldin und Symbolfi­gur des Widerstands gefeiert. In israelischen Medien hingegen wurde diskutiert, ob die zurückhaltende Re­aktion der Soldaten ein Zeichen von Menschlichkeit und Stärke oder von Schwäche sei.
