Zehn Abiturient_innen in Flutwelle ertrunken Bei einem von einer Einrichtung zur Vorbereitung auf den Armeedienst organisierten Ausflug südlich vom Toten Meer ist eine Gruppe israelischer Abiturient_innen von einer Flutwelle überrascht worden. Zehn Teenager im Alter von 17 und 18 Jahren kamen dabei zu Tode. Mehrere Mitarbeiter_innen des Pre-military College wurden verhaftet oder unter dem Verdacht, fahrlässig gehandelt zu haben, unter Hausarrest gestellt. Sie hatten vorangegangene Warnungen der Behörden missachtet.
