EU accession The survey sought to obtain opinions on the EU accession process to understand the level of support, the level of commitment and what the EU means to citizens. To this end the following questions were asked:“ Do you think that Albania's membership to the EU would be…?”,“Do you think Albania should pursue the reforms necessary to become a full member of the EU?”,“What does the EU mean to you personally?”,“In how many years will Albania become a full member of the EU?”. Despite the debate on the advantages and disadvantages of EU membership, spurred mainly by the exit of the United Kingdom, 86.3% of the respondents say that EU membership will be a good thing for Albania. 12.3% think that membership will be neither a good nor a bad thing.
