- The increasing use of artificial intelligence at the workplace is likely to bring about a massive transformation in the working conditions of European employees. This is a huge challenge for social dialogue. Against this backdrop, the FES and the trade union UNI Europa have set up a project to raise awareness of workers and trade unions regarding bargaining on AI and algorithmic management, using the example of the services sector in Europe. In this note, Marta Kahancová, Director of the Central European Labour Institute (CELSI), summarises the key findings of the project and the lessons to be learned for European trade unions.
