Abstract
Nachdem in Polen seit dem Ende des Sozialismus nahezu der gesamte Bestand im Sozialen Wohnungsbau verkauft wurde, wird der öffentlich geförderte Wohnungsbau zunehmend wieder politisch unterstützt. Wie in W?oc?awek entsteht dadurch nicht nur günstiger Wohnraum, sondern erzielt der mietpreisgebundene Bestand auch insgesamt eine preisdämpfende Wirkung.
Now that almost the entire stock of social housing in Poland has been sold off since the end of socialism, publicly funded housing with low rents is increasingly being re-established again. As in W?oc?awek, this not only creates affordable housing, but the rent-controlled stock also has a price-reducing effect overall.
