On April 5, 2019, the Hans-und-Traute-Matthöfer-Stiftung within the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung awarded the Hans-Matthöfer-Preis für Wirtschaftspublizistik �Wirtschaft.Weiter.Denken.� 2019. Award winners are Adam Tooze, professor of economic history and director of the European Institute at Columbia University in New York, with his book �Crashed: How a Decade of Financial Crises Changed the World�, as well as Harald Schumann and Elisa Simantke, journalists and reporters at the daily newspaper �Der Tagesspiegel�, with their article �Blackrock � A Finance Corporation on the Path to Global Domination�. The speeches held during the award ceremony by Kurt Beck, Matthias Kollatz, Peter Bofinger, Adam Tooze, Harald Schumann and Elisa Simantke are published in the present Festschrift.
